About Our Firm
Erin E. Hickey, the principal attorney at The Hickey Law Firm, LLC, is a third-generation Colorado native. She graduated from Colorado State University with her bachelor’s degree in 1997. She spent several years working in her family’s businesses before choosing to enter law school at the University of Denver College of Law. After graduating with her law degree in 2002, she joined the law firm of Gerome & Hickey, P.C., and became the firm’s managing partner and sole shareholder in April 2005.
Operating her practice out of an office in Lakewood, Colorado, Erin has been active in the local, state and national legal community. She has been a member of the American Bar Association, the Colorado Bar Association, The Denver Bar Association, and the First Judicial District Bar Association. She has been active in the leadership of each organization, as well as sections dedicated to young lawyers, trusts/estates and real estate. In 2008, she was recognized by the First District Judicial Bar Association with the George Holley Outstanding Young Lawyer of the Year Award for her excellence as a young attorney. She has also served as the secretary, treasurer, vice president and president of the First District Judicial Bar Association.
